How is the automation system installed?
There are two options available, either of which can be used for both swing and sliding gates:
Above Ground System
The more cost-effective option of the two, above ground systems require less time and equipment, and are fully visible.
Below Ground System
If you are looking for a seamless finish to your gates, the below ground system may be the best option. The larger amount of work required compared to an above ground system does increase the cost, but with this comes an increased aesthetic quality to your property.

Gate Safety
Here at Charnwood Gates we take safety very seriously.
All new installations will comply with the current EN Guidelines and will be given a CE marked sticker to prove this standard.
We will also fill out a conformity of declaration form with the gate’s information. We can carry out Health and Safety assessments on your current gates
and advise on, and carry out, any essential maintenance needed.
We also install the essential safety measures required to protect persons and vehicles around gates and barriers, such as safety photocells or compressible rubber safety ribs to prevent injury.
